A wall of coins forms the first striking moment of the exhibition — an artwork titled Stories of Change, created by Junior Major. Featuring over 10,000 coins drawn from across the Mint’s history, the coins are grouped to form a beautiful tactile tapestry. As visitors arrive, this shimmering wall invites them to explore Australia’s currency past, pieced together in metal.
